Niitsuru Winery · Aizu, Japan
In Niitsuru, Aizumisato, Fukushima, we make wine only from grapes grown in our own vineyards — from the soil to the bottle, entirely by our own hands. Deep, aromatic and approachable Japanese wine.
Our Philosophy
Wine is made essentially from grapes alone — which is exactly why growing good grapes matters most. In our own vineyards we pursue the highest possible quality, expressing a flavour unique to Aizu. Caring for every single grape and cluster, we craft our wine with all our heart.

100% Estate-Grown & Estate-Made
Grapes are usually purchased from growers. Niitsuru Winery instead owns its vineyards and is devoted to true "Japanese wine" made only from grapes we grow ourselves — pursuing a taste possible nowhere but Niitsuru.
On our own vineyards reclaimed from abandoned fields, we do everything from soil-building to cultivation, using both pergola and trellis training.
We began winemaking in 2018, crafting each bottle to capture the full terroir of Aizu with all our care.
We set out to prove that Japanese wine is delicious, pursuing a flavour possible only on this land.

The Niitsuru Story
Niitsuru has long been grape country, but ageing farmers and a shortage of successors have left more and more fields abandoned. To change this, we put those fields back to work — aiming to revitalise the region.
